The interdisciplinary FIGSS seminar takes place every second Monday during the semester from 12:00-13:00. PhD students of the Graduate School are given the opportunity to present and discuss their research results here. External speakers are also invited from time to time.

As FIAS ombudsperson, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Bereiter-Hahn is available as a neutral and qualified contact person to discuss potential violations of scientific standards or conflicts - including personal grievances. In the seminar, he will introduce himself, explain what exactly an ombudsperson does and be available to answer questions.
